Chapter 73

"Yaz..Are you awake baby?" My eyes slowly started to open. "Yaz...." I felt like someone was holding my hand. "H...huh...?" What's happened? Was i asleep? Or did i pass out..? My eyes searched the room. Robbie was sat next to me holding my hand. "W...where am i...?" Slowly i tried to sit up. "Easy babe...you're in the hospital... you passed out." I can sort of remember what happened. Pain? Yes i had pain in my belly. Oh shit... the baby??!! I looked down at my belly. The little bump was still there. "Little bumps fine.." Robbie smiled at me. Wow he knows me so well knowing exactly what i was going to ask. We was soon interrupted as a doctor walked in. "Aaah hello Yasmin." He smiled. His face looked familar. That's it! He looked like Jason! Jason Orange. "My name is Dr Andrews and i'm your doctor for this evening. How are you feeling?" He wrote down a few notes. "E...erm...slight headache but it'll go." I looked at Robbie who just kept smiling at me. What's he up to? "We can give you something for that later... now... has your partner told you?" Mr Andrews looked at Robbie who just shook his head. "Told me....what?" I gave Robbie a confused look. "Very well... i'll explain to you... Mr Williams told me that you haven't seen your baby yet as in scan form, and whilst you was asleep i asked him if he wanted to see your baby on the scan, but he wanted to wait until you woke up." The doctor pulled over a little tv. "Oh...R..Rob..." My eyes filled a little, as i took tight grips to his hand. "Now the reason why you passed out was, because your little one was telling you that you needed to keep hydrated. That was why you had the pains. Apart from that the baby is perfectly fine. Would you like to see it?" Oh gosh... we get to see our baby for the first time! "Y...yes...please..." I wiped my eyes. Robbie moved closer to me letting his elbows lean on my bed. "I'm so excited..." He whispered to me. "Me...me.. too.." I gave a little smile trying to hold my tears in. The doctor squirted some gel like stuff onto my belly and placed some cold device onto it. No idea what the names of these things were. I'm all new to it.  He turned on the little tv. At first there was just different shades of grey and blacks, as he moved it around. "Ah ha... we have lift off..." The doctor left it on a certain place on my bump. "If you look here... this is your baby's spine and here... is your baby's head." He pointed to a few places on the tv. "OOoooh.... Rob..." That's it i couldn't keep the tears controlled much longer as they fell from my eyes. "W...wow...our...b..baby.." Robbie was getting choked up too. I noticed him wiping away a few tears of his own. "Now i can't tell you the sex right now seeing as you're just 4weeks today." 4weeks?? That means.... the baby isn't Gary's! Robbie's the father! If the baby was Gary then it'd be much older 2 maybe 3 months! I pulled Robbie into a tight hug feeling much better than i ever have. The doctor made a few scans and printed them off. "Looks like you're getting a little wave on that one." He smiled handing me and Robbie some scans. The top scan showed our baby's little arm and it did look like it was waving. "This is amazing..." Robbie looked through them. "We made this gorgeous little thing!" He showed me the scans. "I know babe...i can't wait to see if it's a him or her." I grinned. "Me either! Oh Yaz i love you!" Robbie held me close. "I love you too Rob." My fingers ran through his hair. "Lay with me? Please i want to feel you close..." Gently i moved over slightly so Robbie could get in. "Ermm... Can i?" Robbie looked at the doctor. "Sure sure..." He nodded wheeling away the ultra sound equipment. Robbie took off his shoes and got in bed beside me. "Mmmm... much better..." My head rested on his chest. Robbie still looked through the scan photos. "That doctor looked just like Jason..." Robbie laughed. "I was thinking that too!!" I laughed. "He's probably a relation of some sort knowing him." Robbie stroked my hair. "Are you ready for the next 8months? Cravings? Hormones?" I smiled cheekily at him. "You know... i can't wait... bring them on! Just to hold this little one... and we can start our family." He smiled then kissed me.
